To the south and west, 100's of thousands of acres of forest country of steadily increasing elevation contrasts the lower country about the home place.

Superior Productions, a division of Superior Livestock Auction, and Land O’Lakes Purina Feed, LLC announce partnership on "The American Rancher".
Fort Worth, TX February 20, 2009 -- Superior Productions and Land O’ Lakes Purina Feed, LLC have formed a new partnership in 2009. Land O’ Lakes Purina Feed LLC will become the exclusive cattle feed sponsor of "The American Rancher"television series broadcast on RFD-TV (Dish Network- 231 and DirecTV 345).
"The American Rancher", a half hour program hosted by Pam Minick, explores the people, places and stories about ranching as a business and lifestyle in America. The series, produced by Superior Productions, showcases producers, ranches, breed associations, topics and individuals that are involved within the broad fabric of our nation’s livestock heritage. "It is a natural fit and we are very pleased to have such an outstanding partner to help us bring the stories of ranching and livestock to viewers nationwide" says American Rancher television series producer Joel Walters. "We are excited that Land O’Lakes Purina Feed, one of nation’s foremost agricultural companies, believes "The American Rancher" is a quality production and that the show can help them reach an important audience", says Superior Productions Manager Joe Lichtie. "The American Rancher" airs three times weekly on RFDTV starting with new programming during primetime on Mondays at 9:00 pm and two more chances to watch on Tuesday at 11:00 am and Sunday at Noon.
