On behalf of the Sparks Family and the Coldwater staff, we would like to welcome you to the 2009 edition of the Trusted Brand Sale. We are extremely pleased with our selection of Angus, Ultrablack, and Brangus bulls which will be offered for sale this year. It is becoming more and more difficult to sort bulls into a sale order, prior to the printing of catalogs. Our bulls have become so consistent and uniform, it is hard to know where to start and end a sale. This is a good problem and we believe when you walk through our pens the uniformity will be evident. As you read through our catalog and study the numbers compiled for your perusal, please take note of the consistency of maternal and growth strengths from front to back. The stacked pedigrees of Summit and Pathfinders sires and dams are testimony to our commitment of breeding cattle with fertility, milk, performance, and staying power. We are proud of our cow herd and what they produce. We have been blessed this year, in our part of the country with good weather and plenty of rainfall and we thank God for both. Our cattle and pastures have responded to the favorable conditions and have never looked better. Although our line of work can be difficult and even dangerous at times, we believe there is no greater profession in life than the cattle business With that said, we honor the life of our good friend Michael Bennett of Pineview Farms, who lost his life this year due to a farmaccident. We will truly miss Michael as a friend and cattleman. Our cattle are available for viewing at any time before the sale date. Please do not hesitate to let us assist you in any way.
